We invite eligible participants to register for the GANNDALF training “Social engineering and phishing detection”, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal on 6 October 2026.
This advanced, one-day training is designed for law enforcement authorities, prosecutors, and judicial actors. It focuses on strengthening advanced cybercrime investigation and prevention capabilities through the enhanced re-skilling and up-skilling of investigators and law enforcement officers. The curriculum covers the identification of social engineering tactics, investigation of phishing attacks, and prevention-oriented public awareness approaches.
Participants will learn how to recognize different types of social engineering attacks, understand attacker psychology and manipulation techniques, identify phishing emails and messages, investigate phishing incidents, and handle evidence and victim assistance appropriately.
The training includes practical and scenario-based sessions on phishing tactics and detection, incident investigation and response, simulated phishing campaign analysis, public safety messaging, and a practical demonstration of GANNDALF tools. The training will be held in English.
Participation in the training is free of charge for eligible LEAs, prosecutors, and judicial actors. Please note that the organizer covers only the training itself. Travel, accommodation, and other related costs are not covered.
The number of places is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Those who complete the form and qualify for the training will receive a confirmation email by 31 August 2026.
